Norwich City with Lotus F1 Boss
Norwich City is in the search of someone which can do some financial help for their club and also who can run the football club. It is very common occurrence for the football club to go down with times and up again with times. Now Norwich City is not in good financial position and badly need some financer to run the club.
The Lotus F1 boss, Tony Fernandes of Malaysia is now in the mood to support the Norwich City. In a formal occasion, Fernandes admits his interest in the Norwich City and he wants to support the football club and tie up their partnership.
Let’s see what the CEO of Air Aisa and Lotus Racing Team, Tony Fernandes, said:
“Why not, never say no, I’ve never been to Carrow Road, maybe Delia will invite me one day. If people want me to get involved and it makes sense then why not, at the very minimum Lotus and Norwich should be closely aligned. We should help each other wherever we can, and I hope when we have time we can bring the car to Carrow Road, we’ll be rooting for Norwich going forward. I watched them the other day, I think playing Hartlepool, I’ve received many emails, the colour’s green and yellow and maybe Norfolk will become my home for the rest of my life, who know.”
New Stadium for Everton

The talk still continues and goes positive. Everton has been trying to build a stadium at Liverpool but the council has been opposing their proposal. But recently a joint statement stated the talks were positive and now there is possibility that Everton holds a football stadium with 50-000 seats.
The proposal was rejected by the government in November to make the stadium as a part of the complex in Kirkby. It was in the last year that the secretary of the communities, John Denham, turned down the plan considering the vitality and viability of the local communities.
Now with the new deal goes well, Everton wants to increase the seating capacity of the stadium. They want to solve the problem which is currently facing at Goodison Park stadium due to the less seating capacity of 40,100 and due to this they are financial disadvantage.
Liverpool has already made a deal for a new stadium with seating capacity 60,000 but the construction work is yet to start. There is still confusion in the deal about the sharing between the Liverpool and Everton. I am sharing the proposed stadium plan of Everton.
Sir Alex Agreed To Gary’s Sending Off
In the Carling Cup at Barnsley, Gary Neville was sending off the field at the 63rd minute of the match. Though Manchester won the match by 2-0 but still Sir Alex Ferguson was against the decision of the referee. Now he agreed with the decision of the referee saying that it was not that critical attack but still in today’s scenario the decision of the referee was absolutely right.
Few weeks ago, Sir Alex had some issue with the decision of some of the referees for making wrong decision at the critical situation. Now Gary Neville faces a three match ban and it is great lost for him and the team.
Sir Alex Ferguson said:
“Gary did follow through with the tackle and caught the player. It was not high, just above the ankle, but in the present climate I would say that the referee was probably correct.”
Robinho’s Next Club - Barca
The news for the Robinho’s new deal with Barca has already spread across the globe but it is not confirmed yet whether the star will join Barca in this coming January. Football fans and expertise are making guesses that Robinho’s deal with Barca will be completed by January 2010.
The Brazilian football star Robinho also shows his interest to join the new club Barca. He said that Barca will be able to make his dream realized and he wanted to become the best player in the planet which he could do with the support of good team like Barca.
But the coach of the Manchester City, the current club of Robinho, insists that nothing will change with respect to Robinho and he will not leave our club. He has got some ankle injury for which he is going to miss the match against Liverpool. Robinho joined Manchester City from Real Madrid and now Barca may probably the next club of Robinho.

Peter Crouch Hat-trick against Preston
In a spectacular match between the Preston and Tottenham, Peter Crouch scored three goals which helps the team to win with such a difference 5-1. Peter Crouch first attempt was blocked somehow but due to the subsequent attack of the Tottenham, Preston could not stand long. Preston was beaten at home for the first time after April. Now Tottenham booked their place in the fourth round of the Carling Cup. Preston was also attacking and looking for equalizer, but the in-form Spurs goalkeeper, Heurelho Gomes, was just a wall to all the incoming attacks. Let’s see what the managers of both the clubs said about the match.
Alan Irvine, Preston Manager:
“It is harsh on us but we have got to learn the lessons.
“We have got to be clinical with our chances and cannot afford to give opponents of their quality so many openings as they will carve you open.
“We knew the quality of their strikers and that we would need to defend well. I think we shot ourselves in the foot a little bit.”
Harry Redknapp, Tottenham Manager said:
“Preston is never an easy place to come and I felt it would be a tough game.
“A year ago we would never have won a game like this, but we took our goals well and always looked dangerous.
“We have got to keep going and hope that we get a decent draw in the next round of the competition.”
