David Norris has been criticized for Handcuffs goal gesture

World is big and many weird, interesting, disappointed, excited or disgrace things happen in the world. Similarly, in the field of sports also, you will find all the above mentioned things. Recently, Luke McCormick has been jailed with the charge of drink-driver following the accident which cost the lives of two boys, Aaron (10) and Ben Peak (8).

Everyone will say that the incident is horrible but the more terrible thing is that there is another case behind this incident. David Norris who is the mid-fielder of Ipswich Town has been criticized for supporting his team-mate Luke McCormick who has been jailed for running his car over two boys in the drunken state.

David Norris crossed his wrists after scoring the winning goal and it looks like a gesture of Handcuffs which seems like he is supporting his team-mate. The parents of the boys are not happy with his gesture and I want to share what they said about the gesture of David Norris.

“You don’t do things like that. Fair enough, you’re going to show your support, go to prison to see him, write him letters, make phone calls to him, but don’t do things like that. We’re trying hard not to hate Luke McCormick at the moment, but people like David Norris are making it very difficult to do that.”

A Football Association spokesman said:

“We are aware of the incident and have written to Ipswich to seek an explanation from David Norris for his actions and await his response.”

Maradona Becomes the Coach of Argentina and his trip to different training grounds

There has been a strong discussion about the Maradona as the next coach of Argentina and now finally he has become the coach of his national football team. Now he has been enjoying his trip to the different playing grounds and meets some of the international players. He landed on the two most famous world’s football clubs’ grounds, i.e., Liverpool’s and Machester United’s grounds. Now let’s see what players say about Maradona and what he says about the players and his coachship.

The new coach of Argentina, Diego Maradona, met Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano at their respective clubs and both the players are the two main players of his team. About the move of Maradona to choose the captain of his team, Rafael benitez, who is the manager of liverpool, says:

“We talked about what Maradona wants from us and Javier. The talks were positive and Javier would make a great captain.”

Maradona started his journey in Manchester United to meet the stars of his team and there he met with Rio Ferdinand and the captain of the club said:

“We were like schoolkids around a star coming to school. I think the gaffer would probably like him to come every day the way he raised standards in training. Everyone was trying to impress him. In my eyes he is the best footballer ever. He was my idol and part of the reason why I started to play football. I can’t hold him in higher esteem than that. To be able to shake his hand, get a cuddle of him and a picture, it made my birthday.”

Sir Alex Ferguson, who is the boss of Manchester United, also commented as:

“It was good. The players were delighted to see him.”

Maradona travelled different places to meet his stars of the team and meet with most of the players.

Celtic won against Hibernian and Brown to be the best player

Brown was voted as the Clydesdale Bank premier League player of the October month. He had been playing for Hibernian but in May he has been transferred to Celtic and he became the Clydesdale Bank Premier League player with total of two goals in this month and that also one goal against his previous club.

Brown is only 23 and therefore he has lots of scopes in the future and he has enough talent to play for the great clubs. Celtic stormed Hibernian with the great win of 4-2 and the goals of Celtic were scored by McManus 32, Sheridan 36, Loovens 76 and Scott Brown 82.

Hibernian also played well and was able to make a return of two goals. Nish (41) and Fletcher (50) scored one goal each. But the match was quite evenly played and both the teams made huge effort to fight with one another.

Celtic Manager, Gordon Strachan, says:

“It was a deserved victory for us. How we got back to 2-2, I never know. It was terrific game. Our attacking play was immense at times. Hibs had good spells but apart from that I thought we were phenomenal. Scott Brown was absolutely terrific, he did everything. He’s got the lot, he just needs to tidy up his passing sometimes.”

Mixu paatelainen, Hibernian Manager, says:

“I was pleased with the way we passed the ball and the way we created chances. Being 2-0 down at Parkhead is not an easy position to be in. To come back from that is a great achievement. Some of the goals we conceded were really sloppy goals to concede. I felt the two set-piece goals we conceded were absolute jokes. We must do better than that. There could have been more goals for us, unfortunately not.”

Maradona Expected Coach for the Sctoland Friendly Match

Argentina is going to play a friendly match with Scotland and Maradona is the expected coach of the match. Maradona scored his first goal against Scotland in 1979 and it is good oman if he has been given the control in the match. Many people are appreciating Diego Maradona would be the good coach.

Messi, the striker of Argentina and Barcelona, also appreciating the Argentine legend even though he was criticized by the players for selfishness in the field.

Now let’s see what people say about the Maradona and the issue:

Maradona: “We’re going to play the game against Scotland with the best team we’ve got. I really never expected this although I always dreamed of having the chance.”

Messi: “Those are things that you say at the time. I know Diego appreciates me and I don’t hold any grudges. There’s no problem. He’s a great and I admire him for what he gave to Argentine football.”

Ferlaino: “There was a time when (Ottavio) Bianchi was the coach but from his second season the players didn’t talk to Bianchi, Maradona was the true coach,”

Maradona to be the next Argentina’s Coach

Maradona was a superstar in the history of football and everyone knows him by his unique style of playing. In one time, he used to play single handed for the whole team and he was famous for his unique style of dancing among the defenders and that also without any support from the team-mates. Now the news of Maradona to be the next Argentina’s Coach has been spread all over the world.

But God knows how much is this true! There has been some discussion between the Argentina Football Association and Maradona about the issue but the news is still in very initial stage. It has not been finalized and also there has been some comments that he could not be a good manager because managing such a huge team is not an easy task.

The 1986 World Cup winning skipper, Diego Maradona is ready to take the control as a coach of the nation and want to serve the nation. This must be a chance for him to return to the world of football and continue his career as a coach. Also he undergoes many medications and there had been some health problems due to his addiction to cocaine, alcoholism, obesity and faced heart attack. Now he has become all well and ready to step on the ground again.

Now let’s see what Maradona and People say about the issue:

Maradona: “The offer attracted me a lot. As soon as it is confirmed I will start working. The idea is to start working immediately after the official announcement with the players who are in Argentina and then take the first plane to talk to the ones in Europe.”

Noray Nakis, the president of the AFA selection commission, says: “I’d like Maradona to be the next coach.”

Why fans do not like Barton?

The story of Barton is quite popular among the football fans and even the Manager Kinnear is criticized by the fans because of his support to the Barton. As everyone knows, Barton has been facing some problems with his behavior and action with some of his teammates. But still he is a good player in his own side and this is the view of the Manager Kinnear.

The midfielder Joey Barton was playing in Manchester City and he was refrained from playing for six matches for assulting his former Machester City team-mate Ousmane Dabo on the training ground. Then, he joined the Magpies from Manchester City in June 2007 and now he is playing for NewCastle.

There was a clash between the crowd of Newcastle and Wearside in the stadium and police made an arrest of 29 people in the incident. Ultimately Newcastle lost the match in 1-2 for 28 years.

Newcastle’s interim manager Joe Kinnear says about the incident and Kinnear as:

“He had bottles thrown at him. It was bang out of order - we must keep this out of football. All he was guilty of was warming up on the side of the pitch. I felt sorry for him, but thankfully he kept his cool and went on the pitch. He didn’t panic and didn’t have a grudge against the Sunderland fans. I am not going to have anybody else tell me different.”
