Mid-fielder Owen going to miss the match

Following the injury, the mid-fielder Owen of Manchester United is going to miss the match against Valencia despite he has already come back to training session. The Manchester boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, wants his player to be completely fit before they set foot on the match and face the opponent.

Manchester United is 3 points ahead of the Spanish team Valencia and also they beat them 1-0 when they played in the reverse fixture but if Valencia wins the match with good score, then they can go ahead of Manchester. Even though Manchester is ready to play the match without mid-fielder Owen because they want their players to be completely fit before they could play.

Alex Ferguson said:

“He has no chance of being involved. He returned to training last week but we are going to make sure he gets two more weeks behind him. We don’t want to take any risks. We may be through now but we want to get to first spot to avoid any of the big teams in the earlier rounds.”

A great blow to Wolves: Football

Definitely it would be a great blow to Wolves because of the knee ligament damage on mid fielder Karl Henry who is also the captain of the team.

Karl Henry joined his fellow team mates: David Edwards and Adiene Guedioura on the sidelines after his knee injury on Saturday’s defeat at Blackpool.

He may be ruled out for at least two months and it would be a heavy threat to the team because Karl Henry is the main player of the team.

Wolves’ spokesman said:

“He is expected to be out for approximately two months but you never know exactly. Karl’s been great and it’s a huge blow.”

Will Beckham come back again into field

This is the big question mark among the fans of the former England Captain David Bekham. And most probably he will come back again in international appearance in the match of LA Galaxy against Columbus Crew on 11 September.

Bekham last appearance in the international match was on October 2009 and now he just recovered from Achilles tendon injury even though Bekham expressed his eagerness to play again against Columbus Crew which is good news for the supporters and the fans.

Lets see what 35-year-old football player said about the situation:

“I’ll keep my fingers crossed and hopefully will play in part of the game against Columbus. I’ll be on the bench and hopefully I’ll get on the field for 15-20 minutes. At the moment, you have good days and you have bad days. You wake up with a lot more pain in your body when you’re in pre-season. I have to do it because I need to get as close to match fitness as possible. When you do go through a trauma like this, an injury like this, there’s always going to be that thing in the back of your mind saying. Cutting and turning and pushing off is still difficult for me, but that’s going to come in time.”

World Cup End - So as my pass time

During Football World Cup 2010, I was so busy that I could not get enough time to write a single post about the world cup. During the world cup, I was in Tokyo, Japan for some business trip and the timing was so painful. I used to wake up till 2-3 AM and went to office in 8:30 AM.

Though it was good and the best part if my favorite team whom I support for this world cup won the tournament. Germany was playing too good in the last two-three matches and just missed the semi-final with Spain.

Hats off Germany for the great form and I really enjoyed each and every game of Germany expect the last one with Spain. It was quite boring and slow. Enough for the World Cup and now there are many more exciting news about football and other sports to share with you people.

England 23 man Squad for World Cup 2010 has been announced

Now many of the teams have already announced their squads for the World Cup Football 2010, South Africa. England Boss, Capello, has also announced his squad of 23 players for the World Cup 2010. They are leaving for South Africa on Wednesday.

It must be really a tough decision to choose 23 players out of the 30 perfect players. It was quite obvious that something shock would definitely happen as 7 players to be excluded from the team. Now the Arsenal winger, Theo Walcott, has been excluded from the squad of Football World Cup England team 2010.

It was a shock when he included in the World Cup Squad of 2006 and now it is shock why he has been excluded from the World Cup squad 2010. Other main players like John Terry, Joe Cole and some other players have already recovered from the injury.

Joe Cole Said: “”I think I did all right. These games are never easy - you don’t want to get injured and there were some tackles flying in. I’ve had a good 10 days training and a good 45 minutes. I just want to help England win the World Cup.”
