Norwich City with Lotus F1 Boss

Norwich City is in the search of someone which can do some financial help for their club and also who can run the football club. It is very common occurrence for the football club to go down with times and up again with times. Now Norwich City is not in good financial position and badly need some financer to run the club.

The Lotus F1 boss, Tony Fernandes of Malaysia is now in the mood to support the Norwich City. In a formal occasion, Fernandes admits his interest in the Norwich City and he wants to support the football club and tie up their partnership.

Let’s see what the CEO of Air Aisa and Lotus Racing Team, Tony Fernandes, said:

“Why not, never say no, I’ve never been to Carrow Road, maybe Delia will invite me one day. If people want me to get involved and it makes sense then why not, at the very minimum Lotus and Norwich should be closely aligned. We should help each other wherever we can, and I hope when we have time we can bring the car to Carrow Road, we’ll be rooting for Norwich going forward. I watched them the other day, I think playing Hartlepool, I’ve received many emails, the colour’s green and yellow and maybe Norfolk will become my home for the rest of my life, who know.”

Chelsea Supporters - A big match for Chelsea on 7th February

images.jpgI am a die hard supporter of Chelsea Football Club but recently I missed many important matches of Chelsea due to my tight schedule. But another great match of Chelsea is laying and I think I won’t miss this match. This time in the Premier League, Chelsea and Manchester United are the two football clubs who will fight for the title.

Chelsea is going to play with another strong club “Arsenal” on 7th February and this is very match for Chelsea because if they do not win the match, then there is a great chance that Manchester United will go ahead of our team. And after the match with Arsenal, there is another match for Premier League with Everton. We cannot underestimate Everton also and they are also doing pretty well.

But I always keep faith in good players of Chelsea like Michael Ballack, Joe Cole, Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, Ricardo Carvalho, Deco, John Terry and many other players. If you want to stay updates about the Chelsea Football Club, then their official website is very useful to keep track on the fixtures and match results. I always refer to this website to know their plans, match fixtures and other important information about Chelsea.

Some great football tricks from Ronaldo, Ronaldino and other players

Cristiano Ronaldo is my all time favorite player and he got talent as everyone knows. I always love to see the magic of his foot and I could find this video where you can see some of the good football tricks of Cristiano Ronaldo and some other good players of Brazil and Argentina. Zidane is another great player whose match I love to watch and he is so fast when he got and unexpectedly always go directly to the opponent goal post like a bullet.

New Stadium for Everton

everton-stadium.jpg
The talk still continues and goes positive. Everton has been trying to build a stadium at Liverpool but the council has been opposing their proposal. But recently a joint statement stated the talks were positive and now there is possibility that Everton holds a football stadium with 50-000 seats.

The proposal was rejected by the government in November to make the stadium as a part of the complex in Kirkby. It was in the last year that the secretary of the communities, John Denham, turned down the plan considering the vitality and viability of the local communities.

Now with the new deal goes well, Everton wants to increase the seating capacity of the stadium. They want to solve the problem which is currently facing at Goodison Park stadium due to the less seating capacity of 40,100 and due to this they are financial disadvantage.

Liverpool has already made a deal for a new stadium with seating capacity 60,000 but the construction work is yet to start. There is still confusion in the deal about the sharing between the Liverpool and Everton. I am sharing the proposed stadium plan of Everton.

Man City Vs Man United - Following Player Transfer

The Carling Cup semi-final match between Manchester United and Manchester City on Wednesday will be a great match for both the teams. For Manchester City, this is the first time that they have come so far in a league. This time they are playing at their home and it would be an advantage for them.

Manchester United on the other hand is expecting to produce a far superior performance in the match. They have already lost a match against Leeds in FA Cup and this is the first time lost in Sir Alex Ferguson’s 23 year tenure in the third round.

Also following this match, Manchester City is planning for the window transfer and recruiting new players in the club. The news has already been spread to the media that Manchester City is planning for some good transfer but Man City boss Mancini do not want to talk about the transfer before the important match on Wednesday.

Manchester City Boss, Roberto Mancini, said:

“We can talk about other things after the derby - at the moment the most important thing is our match against Manchester United. But it is normal that so many players want to join Manchester City. That situation is normal because Man City is a big club which is going to have a big future. People are talking about Patrick Vieira, they are also saying Ivan Cordoba and Christian Chivu, and they are all very good players. But right now, we have two games to focus on and if we play well then we have the chance to play a final at Wembley. This season, if it is possible, we can win a trophy. As for the rest - we will see after the derby.”

Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United Boss, said:

“We have to get this result out of our system as quickly as possible. We have a semi-final on Wednesday and a lot of those players won’t be playing. You have to view this performance in the right light, but we’ll make sure we’re ready for Wednesday now. We had a team in mind for the game, but there will maybe be a few changes for that.”

Fans Commented on McCarthy’s decision on team selection of Wolves

In the match against Manchester United, Wolves’ important players were missing in the field and the fans were hostile with the Mick McCarthy’s strategy of team selection for the match. Wolves lost 0-3 in the match and fans got frustrated with match and the coach.

On Saturday, Wolves won over Tottenham made the team out of the relegation zone and that was the second win of the team. The first win was 26 years ago and that win gave inspiration and support to the fans of Wolves also. But after they saw the line up in the field, they just got frustrated and as the match progressed they started shouting ‘We want our money back and that’s understandable.

But Williams, one of the fans, gave comments on the match and the decision of the Mick McCarthy as:

“Hopefully he will pick a full-strength team against Burnley and make amends. Listening to Mick’s reasoning, you can understand it, but then he confounded it by saying we’ve got some big games coming up. Well surely last night was a big game? Coming as it was on the back of a win at Tottenham, I thought there was something to be gained from that match on Tuesday. It’s well catalogued that United haven’t the best of defences at the moment with injuries and so on, and I just thought with the likes of the players that were missing we just might have pressed on and got something out of it. Wolves sold out their allocation, paid £42 each plus the time and cost of travelling, and my first reaction when I saw 10 changes and players playing out of position was, I thought, grossly disrespectful. I know it’s easy as a fan to criticise and it’s down to the manager at the end of the day to say he knows best. I can’t complain too much because his knowledge of being best has been pretty good over the last couple of years or so. That said, I hope he doesn’t adopt this attitude in other matches. I’d rather he strengthened the squad in January and did things that way. But come Sunday the ground will be full again, the fans will be behind Mick McCarthy and the team, and if we beat Burnley all this will be forgotten. I was disappointed when I saw the team, just like the other 3,000 Wolves fans there. But deep down I think realism comes to mind where you’ve got Burnley on Saturday so you’d rather field a very strong side there. Realistically, we got three points at Spurs where we didn’t expect three points and Mick’s come away probably thinking don’t bite off more than you can chew. I think he’s thinking Man Utd are going to walk all over us and we’d be lucky to get a draw never mind a win, so why not. As fans you have to bite your lip some days. You’re going to get good games with a full side some days, and some days you’re not.”
