Gudjonsson - Suspended for his comment on Brian Laws

I don’t know what is in the air exactly. But it cannot only be two options: Either midfield Gudjonsson is really not doing well, not performing well in the match and losing his deal with the club or Brian Laws is not a good manager and some of the club players are not happy with his management and strategy.

Burnley is not in the good position in this season and I bet they had never been in a good position in FA and other club football tournament. I remembered, they had a victory over Hull. Before and after that they did not have any spectacular performance.

But it was quite visible from the action of another midfielder Kevin McDonald on 3rd April in a match against Manchester City. It is for sure, players have already realized about the club and the losing grip which is the worst part and which will badly affect the performance of the club and the trust among the people.

Let’s see what people see about the reaction of Gudjonsson and the club:

Gudjonsson:

“all the players have lost faith in him [Laws], the performances say all that has to be said”.

Brian Laws:

“I’m an easy target. I’m in the bottom three, nothing is going well, the results aren’t great, apparently I’m falling out with players. It’s an absolute joke. It’s come from a player who finds himself out the door, in terms of no contract being offered to him for next season. It’s a cheap shot. We’ll deal with Joey Gudjonsson’s comments professionally - unlike the player.”
