Two coaches make people noticeably nervous in terms of long range Super Bowl betting when it comes to prop betting. The first is Norv Turner, who is probably the weakest link on the San Diego Chargers, who have Super Bowl betting odds of +400, ranking them second in the AFC behind the +300 Indianapolis Colts. The second is coach Wade Phillips of the +1000 Dallas Cowboys. Both coaches have high powered offenses, marquee playmakers and tons of momentum heading in to the playoffs, but neither coach has ever enjoyed a tremendous amount of success in the playoffs. Norv is 4-3 SU in the post season, and Phillips is 0-4 SU.
It may be hard time for the Super Bowl fans to decide which team will come up with flying colors because all the teams in Super Bowl are very aggressive for the NFC Championship. But this would be the most exciting time for the Super Bowl lovers to support their teams and the triumph of such evenly match will be the greatest delight. All the great teams like San Diego Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals are waiting for their opponents to face.
Throughout the years, the Super Bowl betting line has historically left a lot of room for the underdog to operate. In fact, in six of the last eight seasons, the team getting points has covered the pointspread in the Super Bowl betting line. It is hard to tell who would be the favorite in the Super Bowl betting line if the teams listed as favorites to get there - the Indianapolis Colts (3/1) and the New Orleans Saints (4/1) - manage to make it to Land Shark Stadium in Miami, but the underdog probably won’t carry a big price.
