Culverhouse is a very popular in the history of Canaries. He was playing for Norwich City for a long time in 1990’s and he made a total appearance of 369 games for Norwich. He has been selected as the assistant manager to Paul Lambert who is the newly selected manager of Norwich City.
The head of football operations, Gary Karsa, will jointly work with Culverhouse and Lambert and they worked together at Colchester and Wycombe also. Now the trio will be the best combination and people hope many good players from Norwich City under their management.
Culverhouse said:
“It’s great. I’ve always had affection for the club, it was a major part of my career. Now we’ve got a job to do. We’ve got some good players who need a little bit of help. Hopefully we can guide them in the right way.”
Culverhouse ideas about Lambert and his new career as:
“He’s a very good man-manager, that’s his great strength. He won’t really get close to people. He keeps his distance but he earns respect through the person he is. These players will certainly know when they’ve done well, and they’ll certainly know when they’ve let him down. I think they’ll enjoy his management. These players here need help, they need a bit of confidence and they need the crowd right behind them. I know how passionate the fans are here, they’ll play a massive part for us this season but it’s up to us to give them something to shout about.”
