Drogba was playing for Marseille for quite a long time and he left the club for Chelsea in 2004 and now the manager of Marseille is very keen to get the Didier Drogba back to their club again.

But the curiosity is whether the Ivory Cost star, Didier Drogba will back to the club or not. He must be paying a good amount in Chelsea and it is damn sure that Marseille cannot offer the amount that Chelsea is paying him currently. But somehow the people of Marseille are confident that Drogba will lastly play for the club again.

If Drogba come back to the club again, then this is sure that Drogba has some emotional attachment with his former club, Marseille. Let’s see what people talk about the move.

Pape Diouf, president of Marseille, said:

“You can’t exclude thinking of other scenarios, like the boy accepting a pay cut, efforts on our part. We must talk to our supporters in adult language. They know we do what we say, and vice-versa. To say to them, ‘We are going to win the Champions League’ or ‘Drogba is going to return’, I will not allow myself to do it - that would be showing them a lack of respect. On the other hand, to say to them, ‘Like you, I really want Drogba to come back and if there is a possibility of doing it, I will do it’, that I can guarantee them. Each time I see him, I say to him, ‘Now Didier, get your bags together and come back here!”‘
