Two big international football teams, England and Spain, are going to play a friendly football match at Madrid. But there is a news that Spain is not a safe place for playing football for English players because they had been subjected to racist treatment during friendly match between the two team in 2004.
Many questions arise whether Spanish football is racist or Fifa probes Spanish racist chants. The friendly match between the great football teams is scheduled on Wednesday 11 February at Madrid’s Bernabeu ground. Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium is quite a large stadium with the capacity of 45,500.
Meanwhile the Football Association opposed the venue of the friendly match because of the racist treatment in 2004 as England players had already been treatment badly during the match. Spain is going to play many important matches in different stadiums of the country. They are going to play the world qualifier match against Turkey at the bernabeu Stadium on March. And then Copa del Rey final on May at Valencia’s Mestalla stadium.
