Brown was voted as the Clydesdale Bank premier League player of the October month. He had been playing for Hibernian but in May he has been transferred to Celtic and he became the Clydesdale Bank Premier League player with total of two goals in this month and that also one goal against his previous club.
Brown is only 23 and therefore he has lots of scopes in the future and he has enough talent to play for the great clubs. Celtic stormed Hibernian with the great win of 4-2 and the goals of Celtic were scored by McManus 32, Sheridan 36, Loovens 76 and Scott Brown 82.
Hibernian also played well and was able to make a return of two goals. Nish (41) and Fletcher (50) scored one goal each. But the match was quite evenly played and both the teams made huge effort to fight with one another.
Celtic Manager, Gordon Strachan, says:
“It was a deserved victory for us. How we got back to 2-2, I never know. It was terrific game. Our attacking play was immense at times. Hibs had good spells but apart from that I thought we were phenomenal. Scott Brown was absolutely terrific, he did everything. He’s got the lot, he just needs to tidy up his passing sometimes.”
Mixu paatelainen, Hibernian Manager, says:
“I was pleased with the way we passed the ball and the way we created chances. Being 2-0 down at Parkhead is not an easy position to be in. To come back from that is a great achievement. Some of the goals we conceded were really sloppy goals to concede. I felt the two set-piece goals we conceded were absolute jokes. We must do better than that. There could have been more goals for us, unfortunately not.”
