Will Martin Skrtel Injury affect the defense line of Liverpool?

Martin Skrtel who is the solid defender of Liverpool suffered from a cruciate ligament injury and the question is whether Liverpool will able to block the forward players in the Premier League. In the last match between Manchester United and Liverpool, Martin Skrtel was fallen awkwardly in the field and made a call for the stretcher and oxygen to become conscious.

It was a big loss in the game plan of Liverpool. Skrtel was signed for the club from Senit St Petersburg in January only and then he was in the good partnership with Jamie Carragher in making a good defence for the team.

Liverpool could manage to score only four goals in the seven matches of Premier League this season but he is in the second position just after Chelsea which is in the great form. About the injury of Skrtel, the spokesman of Liverpool says:

“He will see a specialist on Tuesday to assess the extent of the injury. We will then have an accurate idea of the timescales involved before he is back playing again.”
