It is miserable situation for the Indian Olympic Association with the positive doping test of Monika Devi who is the possible gold medallist of India. But it is claimed that the test result was just a fraud and some bad manipulation happened with the doping test. she was stopped from going to Beijing for the Olympics after the doping result came out with a banned substance.
It was said that a positive result came out for an anabolic salt in the test conducted on 29th June. The report came just before she was about to leave India for Beijing Olympics. This is the fourth time that Indian players have been caught for positive doping result. But there is some controversy over the test result of Monika Devi and it was claimed that she is innocent and does not know about the salt.
The Sport Authority of India (SAI) used an old dope test report and found it very controversial to believe the last positive dope test result of Monika Devi. The last three dope test came out to be negative and how the last dope test came out to be positive and that also just before the start of the journey. Now the protest has started in every nook and corner of Manipur. And they people of Manipur are demanding the central government to send Monika Devi in the Beijing Olympics. But there is a problem that the game has already started and wondering if the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) will allow to participate Monika Devi or not?
