Gibbs became the third to hit six sixes

It is the time of world cup and record breaking and record making being the game that players enjoy much.This time South Africa Player Herschelle Gibbs score 36 run(six sixes in an over) in the first match of the team against Netherlands.Gibbs is the third player to score six sixes or 36 runs in an over.The first being the West Indian Garfield Sobers in 1968 and secondly by Ravi Shastri of India in the year 1985.But Gibbs is the first to score 36 in one day international match.
Relating about the great achievement of Gibbs,the opponent team’s Captain Luuk van Troost reacts in the post match news conference as”Before the game we said let’s make history today by beating South Africa”.And he added “We made history but not by beating them”.Van Troost narrated his conversation with the bowler Van Bunge during the over.”After the third one I told him to try to bowl quicker delivery,and he said,’I just did’.There were a few good balls,and a few bad ones as well.”
