Days for inclusion and exclusion being a game of the day with all the fans keep hanging out to know which are in and which are out.Following ruled out of Australian fast bowler Brett Lee,two more players of pakistan have been excluded from the match other than all rounder player Abdul Razzaq.The players are fast bowlers Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif.Allrounder Abdul Razzaq was ruled out of the Cup because of his knee injury and now cricket chiefs insisted that the exclusion of both the players is on medical ground not because of doping.Shoaib Akhtar has knee and hamstring problems and Asif has an elbow injury.These made to cut off from the World Cup 2007.
Now Yasir Arafat and Mohd Sami are replacing them.Commenting to the situation the team coach Bob Woolmer said “It is a huge blow.”Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq give his view,”But their injuries would have taken more time and we couldn’t ait any more.”Then he added.”This is not an ideal situation for us.We are leaving for the West indies under tremendous pressure.”
It worth mentioning that they were banned after the steroid nandrolone found in their body.Akhtar for two years and Asif for one year.But the banned were lifted on the ground that they took the substance unknowingly.But further test in UK while they were under check up for their injury revealed that they still have the banned substance in their systems.So,let us see what happen next.
