As the Cricket World Cup 2007 comes nearer and nearer,cricket fans start thinking themselves as Sachin Tendulkar or Adam Gilchrist.Cricket fans are ready to make a huge shout on the match between different nations.And also it is the interest no matter what and where they belong.An Indian may be great fan of Ricky Pointing or an Aussie may be a great fan of Tendulkar.In the midst i want to lay down some background or history of Cricket World Cup.How did this origin and where from.
To organize a worldly event is not an easy task and even more tough at the starting.So,the same thing happened for the International Cricket Organization when they started organizing a worldly event for the game Cricket.It was in 1912 that the first attempt to organize a world championship was made.And it was arranged between the current nations England,Australia and South Africa.Because of some weather situation the experiment was dropped.But in 1975 they met the triumph and arranged one day competitions among different nations i.e., England,Australia,India,New Zealand,West Indies,Pakistan,Sri Lanka and East Africa.This marked the beginning of the first Cricket World Cup host by England.Following two more tournament was held in 1973 and 1983 again in England.After that the tournament started being organized in aboard.In 1987 the tournament was held in India and Pakistan and following by 1992 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.Again in India,Pakistan and Sri Lanka in 1996.Then in England in 1999 and in South Africa(2003).In this coming World Cup 2007,the tournament will be held in Caribbean where lots of miracles ans surprises going to be happened.
